DAMIAN KOZLIK – IGA CHAIR

Young Polish designer Damian Kozlik from Wroclaw created design of the Iga chair.

Polypropylene chair is now only in visualization. It is very strong geometric shape, which would be made from the perforated sheets. It makes interesting visual patterns from the different holes around whole chair. It is possible to confront this shape with traditional japan origami. Legs are made from four triangles. On the each side between the two triangles is storage for magazines and newspaper. It is very clever and simple solution, which is coming out classic modernist designs. The chair Iga links tradition philosophy of “form follows function” and new view on contemporary decoration and visual effects in design.
